Danny Garcia faces Judah in his hometown on Feb. 9th.

Danny Garcia ( 25-0-0 16 KO's ) will look to retain his WBA/WBC/RING and unofficial lineal titles on February 9th 2013 against skilled fellow American " Super " Zab Judah ( 42-7-0 29 KO's ).

This fight will be a superb challenge for the young champion Danny Garcia. Zab Judah was stopped by Amir Khan brutally in five rounds two fights ago who which almost directly after was knocked out by Garcia straight after.

Many on paper view this as a deal-sealing factor against the more experienced Zab Judah. But nevertheless he did manage to return after words to beat up young contender Vernon Paris over a mere 9 quick rounds. Paris was previously well publicized as a top up and comer in the United States but Zab managed to skreetch his anticipated title hopes to halt quickly. That was enough to prove to me he has enough left for this potentially final title run.

Garcia, fighting with care, should be a hefty betting favorite. But Judah is one of his best opponents to date. It will take quality preparation to get a victory.

Top Middleweight and WBO Titleholder Peter Quillin is already confirmed for the undercard. Possibly against faded former undisputed champion Jermain Taylor.

This fight card will headline the Barclays Center's second boxing event. It ironically had Garcia headlining the first against Mexican great Erik Morales but it doesn't seem he'll be the local boy getting cheered as Zab is from Brooklyn and will look to impress his local boxing fans. Tune in Live on Showtime.
