Last night on HBO's Boxing After Dark Tripleheader HBO made it official that the rumored Broner-Demarco bout is official for November 17th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. Broner will be moving up in weight for this one as he has struggled to make the limit of 130 lbs at Super Featherweight.
Adrien Broner is very slick and savvy in the ring. His power and hand speed draws fans a lot of interest towards him by Boxing Journalists, Promoters and fans alike. Many view him as a " next generation Floyd Mayweather " with much reason as he is bashing through top contenders like Vicente Escobedo and Jason Litzau with ease each fight. After clearing out many contenders at the Super Featherweight division he moves up to Lightweight to face hard hitting Mexican Antonio Demarco. Who is one of the best in his weight division and holds the WBC World title. Broner should be well prepared as proved recently Demarco has beat good fighters himself and puts on relentless pressure on his opponents in the ring until he usually manages to grind them down. Broners key will be his handspeed and movement. He needs to confuse Demarco.
This contest is joined by a Heavyweight contest featuring powerful American Seth Mitchell taking on a decent test in Johnathan Banks. It will also be televised live on HBO's World Championship Boxing card.
More details will be announced as story progresses.
